Bottled. An amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Not bad for a gluten free beer.

Bottle. An unclear, golden to amber colored beer with a minimal-sized off-white head. The aroma is weak and fruity with a touch of malts. A faint caramel hint in the far back, both in the aroma and the flavor. The flavor too is fruity and lightly malty, with some bitterness showing up towards the end. Medium body, nicely carbonated and semi-dry. Even considering it’s a gluten free beer it’s boring. Dead boring. 140110

Bottle from Terre de Boisson Calais. Clearish amber colour with a thin off white head. Malty aroma. It’s a pretty basic beer. Simple, some yeasty esters but fairly muted. Not dull, just a bit basic and although no bad or off flavours, nothing too exciting either.

Bottle from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours clear copper with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is light, and it seems to be pale stone fruits. Med body. Flavor is a bit yeast/spice with pale stone fruit. Peach is what seems to be the best choice. It’s not the tastiest beer, but if it was served blind I don’t think I’d realize it’s gluten free. Gotta be one of the better choices for the intolerant. Like it tastes like beer.
