Organic version of the classic Brunehaut Villages Blond, with snow white, thick, stable head and misty golden blonde colour. Aroma grainy, hints of iron, white pepper, citrus peel, banana. Soft fruity taste, mineral-like, touch of caramel malt, finishing in a grassy hoppiness and unfortunately also some clear solvents (plastic) ruining the overall flavour profile.

330ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a huge white head that retains well and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and grains. Taste is a light fruit and malty sweetness with a spicy and earthy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with good carbonation. A well done GF beer that should satisfy not only those that cannot have gluten, but even the regular beer drinkers out there.

Uklar gullig plumret farve og tyndt flygtigt skum. Næse af jern korn og svag sødlig krydderi. Smag af sommer med krydderi, citrus og syre. Masser af kulsyre og friskhed. Anbefales til en solrig dag på terrassen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a clear golden colour, with a thick, white head. Aroma of bitter cereal, floral hops and an edge of copper. Initial flavours of peach, straw and Belgian yeast. Finish was malty, with notes of hay and metallic hints. Pretty authentic tasting and not too sweet, considering it’s gluten free.

Don’t understand low ratings. Really good. Drank straight from bottle. Easy drinking wheat with slight hops. Maybe like more due to mediocre beer prior to enjoying

330 ml bottle as “Daas Blond” bought at Life Restaurant in SOHO, Central.

Cloudy hazy straw golden honey colour with slight traces of dirt-like yeastsediments; One finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Sweet aroma of malt, with light pineapple, light citrus, candy sugar, syrup (when warmed) light wet cardboard, and light but odd Bel yeast; Mid to light sweet taste of malt, with light metallic, strong phenol, light wet cardboard, notable alcohol, light Bel yeast, lime, and strong grassy hops; Med to light body. Thin but slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is basic Bel Ale with pretty strong phenol elements, which taste kinda spicy but there’s no cloves feel to it. Bel yeast taste a bit odd, no fruity esters, but a pretty sneaky booze lingers on. Wet paper is not macro lager-like but still quite annoying. Hmmm… Hoppiness is no nose, notable lime and very grassy hops in taste. Typical Bel Ale low bitterness, mostly low-ebb hoppy-boozy finish; Quite dry after taste. Quite easy and slightly boozy to mouth.

Comments: Maybe my bottle is oxidized, but apart from that, this is an unbalanced Belgian with all its good looks being wasted by lack of characters, odd yeast and bad booze. Not a drain pours, but it’s just not a pleasant tasting experience. Aliased beer, eh? Lesson learned.

Bottle. Almost clear gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, very light belgina character, rather clean, light lemony aromas. Taste is grainy, low bitterness, medium sweetness with just a light fruity touch. Palate is light, dry and well carbed. Good.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy pale body with a fluffy white head. Lively carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of cloudy cider and white pepper. Flavour of grass and apple. Light spice. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not bad, but lacking depth.

I like it more than words can express! The smooth palate combines deep malty flavours, vanilla and dark fruits.
