2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Blond coloured beer, almost no head and few carbonation. Herby aroma. Full palate with a bitter touch. Finish is bitter sweet ending a bit dry.

330ml bottle at beer session in Tromsø 29.apr.09. Thanks Rune! Yellow unclear. Smells like lemon deodorant used in bathrooms and cleansing agents. Tastes of cabbage, cereal and a little spice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale, hazy yellow with fast receding head. It’s a decent white, not too sweet, good level of acidity. Very clean tasting and refreshing.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet. Strågul på farge. Kremaktig skum som forsvinner. Uklart. Krydret aroma. Vassent helhetsinntrykk. Svakt søtlig ettersmak. Litt skuffende.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. A cloudy pale yellow beer with a loose white head. Nose of wheat malt and subtle lemon peel. Rather thin bodied with mild flavours of wheat, lemons and coriander leaves. Finish is neutral and disappointing. Hoegaarden wit is much better IMHO.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a cloudy murky greenish/yellow with a medium sudsy white froth on top. Not much in the way of aroma, yeasty, wet grains, some coriander. Flavor is straight coriander with a bit of lemon/citrus in the finish, some gritty unmalted wheat as well. Long coriander seed aftertaste. Medium bodied, heavy water feeling, crisp soda carbonation. Has all the right characteristics of a good wit, just not particularly interesting or in great balance.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
...bottle from Purvis. Nice citrus on the nose, light bodies, with a creamy yeast consistancy. Slightly priclky with some hoppy notes. Crisp, clean with and nice dry, yet spicy finish. Hints of clove and corriander make it a good all-round, organic wit. Definitely worth trying.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 ml bottle. Cloudy yellowish white. Medium white head. Belgian yeast nose. Crisp flavours. Floral and citrusy. High carbonation level. Crisp hops with a distinctive bitterness. Watery mouthfeel. Light-bodied. Very much an average beer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle shared with Ross at Bar and Cigar in Oslo. It is perhaps not fair to review this one after having enjoyed a Dugges/Nøgne Ø Sahti. No wonder, it appeared rather faint and savourless. Has got a foggy golden body. Airy, foamy head, short-lived. Moments of lemon citrus smell. Limy hints in flavour added light spices and dried fruits. The rear end carries very little weight [22.01.2009].

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy yellow brew thats starts with an barnyard-smell like some Saisons have. Then the Witbier style took over with its coriander taste and thirstquenching abillities.
