Bottle 33 cl. Nem name = Brunehaut terroir. Light cloudy golden color, with small white head. Aroma little citrus, and koriander. Medium body. Taste is pretty, nice wheat character (koriander to), spices, pepper. Bitter and dry at the end. For me a good witbier !

fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - SEP 10, 2002
Pale yellow colour, bright, exaggerated head, turbulent perlage; nice lace.
Pleasant aroma, sweet; white sugar, kiwis, soap, lily, citrus fruits.
The first impact is dry, but gets smoother and lightly sweeter just after; fruity, citrus; some astringency remains till the finish. Bitter palate, stronger than the average witbier.
Straight, but one of the most enjoyable and drinkable examples of the style.

(Bottled, label says "Terroir") Very hazy golden with a largeish, foamy, white head. Crisp, strongly ginger-coriandery, lemony aroma. Lemony-wheaty-malty, witbier-spicy flavor with yeasty notes, low bitterness and mild, sourish acidity. Light to medium-bodied, quite refreshing, neutral palate with foamy carbonation. A quite pleasant, dry and balanced witbier. Maybe slightly papery and acidic, but reasonably complex and refreshing.

Cloudy light yellow. Somewhat perfumey and lightly marshmallowy aroma. Malt-accented with a spicy, peppery hop finish. Good balance.

Pours as hazy as you like it. Aroma of lemon rind, white pepper, marmalade and coriander. More citrussy hops and mouldering apple earthiness than most. A glug of Tunnel. Zesty, sparkling and peppery with a dryish parting bitterness, and some almost smoky malt notes. A witbier that stands slightly out from the crowd.

Hazy pale yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is very plesant, sweet white sugar, balanced acidic/sour and some notes of stable. Flavor is fresh bitter and acidic, with a dry bitter finish. Since i like acidic, i consider this one of the better witbiers.

Pale, hazy yellow with fast receding head. It’s a decent white, not too sweet, good level of acidity. Very clean tasting and refreshing.
