[Vintage 88 - 16 years old] The color is brown with sediment floating around and no head. Thearoma is sour with notes of wood and caramel. The flavor is like wine with notes of wood, metal, and plums. The alcohol prickles the tongue.

RBESG2008: 75 cL bottle, 1999 vintage. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing and light orange head. Light acidic, phenol and yeasty fruity aroma. Citric and oxidised, orange fruity. Ends yeasty and oxidised and very citric.

Bottled (1999 vintage). Hazy orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wood, mils spices and some slight leathery notes. Flavour is sour wood, mild leathery notes as well as acidic fruits and some caramel.

Bottled at RBESG (1999 vintage). Cloudy amber, small head. Acidic lemony nose. Medium bodied with sweet and sour flavour of lingonberry and caramel and a fair amlunt of alcohol coming through. Dusty finish with some vinegar. Clearly oxidized, but mostly in a good way.

[Vintage 1999] Hazy amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with ripe fruits, caramel and yeasty notes. Sweet and oxidydized flavor with caramel and ripe fruits and yeasty notes.

Orange dark color, small white head. Fruity, a bit prunes and apples in the nose, slightly oxidazed. Fruity, caramelly, slighlty oxidazed flavor. Some vanilla and sour apple. Aged pretty well.

Bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours a clear dark copper-golden with a staying, small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of cellar, lightly tart, good caramel and oranges. Low carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Flavour is oxidized, though it is not too overpowering, some clear oak notes, tarty oranges and lots of caramel and raisins. Nice surprise.
