Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of prunes and over-ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits as well as lighter notes of spices - cinnamon and cloves, as well as lighter notes of prunes an alcohol, that leaves a burn on the back of the tongue.

33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours hazy to murky brown with an orange dense head. Dried fruity and malty aroma, slight spiced. Flavour is dried fruity with malty tones towards roasted and chocolate without getting there. Finish holds a mild raisin note without getting sweet. Ends malty. Nice.

Bottle. Malty, alcoholic aroma. Dark brown colour, small light brown head. Smells old. Creamy malty flavour. Aftertaste of cream and alcohol.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Rubyish brown colour with small head. Aroma is spices, caramel malts, raisins and some mild yeastyness. Flavour is yeast, raisins, alcohol and dark dry fruits.

<i>Bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg</i><br />Dark chestnut color. It’s a quite basic Belgian Dubbel, based on caramel from the aroma through the flavor to the final, and with very limited bitterness to balance it; the yeast leaves an impression of ripe apples. Not bad, but a full glass is almost too much.
