2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Aroma of nice strong hops and apple. Amber color, beige head, few lace. Light sweet, hoppy, peppery, bit of iron. Sparkling, medium body, light dry. Complex, well hopped but still it gave me an amateuristic feeling.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottled) Hazy amber color with sparkling carbonation and a large, firm and lacy head. Toffee-malty, British-style bitter aroma with a hint of metal and strawberry. Slightly sour and acidic berries and dark toffee aroma. Long, lingering, somewhat bittersweet berry aftertaste. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated and bitter palate. A quite enjoyable, British-Belgian brew.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled (BB 09/2006)
Hazy light amber, big foamy off-white head. Mild grassy nose with notes of yeast. Carbonated, chocolaty with toffee notes. Soft, slightly grassy hoppy palate. Maybe not a big Belgi but quite interesting.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy amber color; huge thick head. Quite ordinary ale, with a light maltiness, a bit metallic and some alcohol punch; a bread impression. The final is well bitter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown beer with a white head which retains itself beautifully. Good lacing also. Aroma is of sour berries and freshly plained pine. Taste is typically Belgian with candy sugar coming through. As I said typically Belgian but only average within its class.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moderate gushing to yellow-tinted head, huge and dense; hazy dark-amber beer. Slight aroma of (sorry) horsesh*t, vegetable, freshly dried hops, farmyard, iron. Hayish flavour, much sweeter than expected from the nose, caramel. Just a faint, metallic hopflavour in the palate. More toffee, probably iron, better masked as in the nose. Medium-bodied, velvety texture. Quite good Belgian speciale, Walloon version. Vies with the best, actually.
