Ungstrup (29850) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2006
A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is metallic and fruity - as if the fruits has been stored too long. The flavor is sweet dusty - and again these fruits that have been stored too long comes to mind. The alcohol also shows it presence with a few hints.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber, with some stale, yeasty impurities. Fresh, spicy aroma. Complex flavoral pattern, very refined and spicy. Some toffee, some fruit with a dry and bitter finish. Interesting and quite unique. 110998

Cloudy amber color; huge thick head. Quite ordinary ale, with a light maltiness, a bit metallic and some alcohol punch; a bread impression. The final is well bitter.

Bottle. (As Ambree Biologique) It pours a fingerthick dense off-white head over a slightly hazy orange to amber body. Lots of carbonation going on. Dried fruits and caramel starts the aroma, followed by some fresh fruits. There’s also a touch of fruits. Effervescent, full-bodied mouthfeel with flavors of dried fruits, caramel, white sugar, some fresh fruits and a fine bitterness balancing the sweetness nicely. I would have liked a less anonymous beer, but at least it’s easy to drink and without flaws. And it also looks nice when all is drank, with lacings clinging to the glass. (081222)

Bottle from Dranken Geers. hazy amber, thick lasting beige head. Quite a choccy amber. Really drinkable. I guess some choc malt in there somewhere. Dry malt, some fruit. Tasty amber.

MiP (13799) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle, 6.5%. Yeasty, vinous aroma. Sparkling, hazy brown colour. Nice and big, lacy, creamy, stable white head. The flavour starts with some metal that disappears, more or less, after a while. Mild, semi-sweet maltiness. Late bitterness. Rather mild and with a little metal, otherwise OK.
