Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2007, London. Dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, light licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A very dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as light notes of roasted malt, leading to a smooth sweet finish.

From cask at Kelham Island Tavern. Pours dark brown to black with a small off white to tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Mild acidic and roasted malt flavoured. Somewhat alcoholic too. Acidic and dark malty finish. Not really my thing.

Cask. Pours a very dark brown with a vague orange hue and a small off-white head. Lightly burned malt in the nose, perhaps a whiff of butter also. Full-bodied, rich in sweet, hard roasted malts and sweet dried fruit. Again almost no bitterness - Brunswick seems to be afraid of hops! 170110

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized bubbly beige head. Aroma is slightly roasted malts, fruits, some hops and caramel. Flavour is fruity, slightly roasted and quite wooden. Wellbalanced and leaves a nice spicy aftertaste.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. VEry dark ruby/black. No head. A rather nice aroma of dark fruit and liquorice. Very decent beer, that has some different flavours. Bit oily, some vegetable flavour, but in a good way. Interesting.

5th December 2008. Very dark brown stout. Soft and rich with a slight undercurrent of cherry-raspberry. Dry malt finish that is just slightly bitter. The fruitiness makes this very drinkable. No need to be Paranoid at all!

Fruit aroma. Black slightly rich on the palate and fruity. Strong in alcohol. Some nutty flavour in a bitter lasting malt finish.
