Cask handpull, The Crown Inn, Beeston, Notts, 20/05/11. Overfilled half. Brilliant still bronze-gold with a white slick. Aroma of minerals verging on boiled egg. Washy oak-hinting stillness, lick of peardrop, discreet stoniness. Decent vanilla afters like corn; hints of leafiness on the burp, digestives. OK but dull. Leans too close to Marstons territory for my liking.
