Cask Handpump at the Assembly Rooms, Derby 07/07/2006 Some malt aroma. Clear golden coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity. Crisp bitter and slightly creamy full malt finish.

Cask (handpump) Derby CAMRA Fest 06. Not bad at all - with most the local brewers pitching in with a festival special, it was good to taste a Brunnie brew that had a bit of bite to it. Quite a sumptuous feel for a light looking beer - the creaminess didn’t cloy and I reckon they could have ramped the ABV up a notch to make this one really assert itself.
