This might look a bit familiar, and it is! This is our Holidale, using the same types of grain as AiN’CHO MUM’S, we cranked this baby up to 8% and infused Cinnamon and Nutmeg to the beer inside the fermenter, to add that Holidale spirit! Of course the lucky few that are here tonight will be the only ones to taste it this year, as the batch is to be conditioned over the next year with bourbon barrel wood chips to round out the flavours, and add a bit of vanilla. But, we figured for an opening party of this magnitude it would be fun to get a sneak peak! We hope you enjoy this one, and it brings you into the holiday spirit.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Islington on 9th December 2012. Impenetrably black with a rosy tan head. Rich and intense aroma of luxury Christmas pudding and spices. Intensely spicy in-mouth, with salient nutmeg, allspice and mint. Chilli develops late and smokiness and malt build somewhat rescuingly in the finish. Zingy mouthfeel but body very light for strength. Somewhat an acuired taste, but at the end of my drink I gues I acquired it.
