Our final main stay beer, a true crowd pleaser, a nice German style Hefeweizen, with a load of honey added to it. The honey adds nice floral notes to the aroma, while leaving just a tiny bit of sweetness to the beer. Honestly, not a lot can go into the description of this beer. It is meant to be easy, fun and relaxing. We put it in a cask today for experimental purposes. This might be the only time, ever, that it is sampled out of a cask, so we truly hope that you enjoy it!

33cl bottle from Oddbins London. Clear orangey russet colour as long as you don’t pour in the yeast. Thick rocky beige head. Estery yeast on aroma with sweet honey too. That’s quite interesting. It’s quite sweet. Yeast and esters are attractive. I mean I like German hefes anyway. Good mouthfeel, good fullness in mouth. I kinda liked it. It’s a different kind of beer. Interesting.

Expected a honey one and git something which wanted to be lambic. In the end a nearly nice tasting berliner weisse with a skunky aroma and aftertaste full of cheap vegetables.

Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy orange-yellow colour with steady head and medium to thin body. Aroma of sour berries, wheat and acid. Taste of fresh hops, light wheat and there is a huge sourness which makes the beer almost to a Berliner Weisse. Infected or not, I quite like it that sour but the cabbage juice finish may be a littlle awkward.

Bottled 330ml ABM. Deep red-amber, hazy color, good steady white head. Aroma has vegetables, yeast and hints of honey. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Tartish front, then some fruity hints and honey. As it’s tart, feels a bit infected.

Bottle shared at Borefts ’13, from Sourced, 28/09/13. Hazed orange/amber with a good sized white head. Nose is light fruit, bitter orange, apricot, tarte fruit notes. Taste comprises light wheat tones, orange pith, peach, grass, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok drinkable but equally forgettable stuff, not much honey going on - a good thing in my book!

Hazy reddish - amber beer, good cream coloured head. Light malt and honey on the nose. Palate is slightly soft and airy with fine minerally carbonation. Mild honey sweetness and a little peppery spice. Tangy orange underneath. Finishes dry. Hangs together quite well. Quite drinkable. Pleasantly tangy.
