33cl bottle, served in trappist glass @ Lambicus. Pours golden with medium white frothy head. At first it looks like a regular IPA: the smell is pretty much that (very good, though) and the taste only becomes different after a few minutes...showing that this is really a Belgian IPA, with a lot of yeasty notes. The more one drinks it, the more lemon one gets. The palate is moderately dry...carbonation: simply perfect. Chapeau!

Vili (127) - FINLAND - JUN 17, 2015
33cl bottle. Clear medium gold pour with medium, thick, frothy, white head. Good lacing. Aromas of spruce, menthol (?!) and spices. Taste is heavily bitter, somewhat sour with sidenotes of peppermint. Low carbonation and very slick palate. Aftertaste is really, really bitter and long. I like the aromas and bitterness, but this one is somehow one-sided and even too hoppy.

Skinnyviking (7721) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2015
Bottle. High fluffy and lasting white head. Hazy yellow body. Dusty malt aroma and flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, herbal notes, low caronation and a long dry finish. Alcohol level seems just right.

Foam: nice white foam. Colour: cloudy dark orange/ dark golden. Aroma: very nice fruity, citrusy, orange peels and tropical notes like exotic fruits from different hops used in this beer, yeast. Taste: nice Belgian IPA with medium body, lively carbonation, dry palate with citrus, orange, hoppy bitterness, floral, yeast, good IPA with good mix of hops, pretty bitter.

vipinvelp (2752) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 6, 2015
Slight opaque, big lasting lacing off-white foam hed. Light citrus aroma. Decent bitter hoppy taste and aftertaste. Not bad. (Den Haag 201506)

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
Garrold (2458) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2015
Bottle. Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy gold. Bubbly, white head, that settles to a film. Bready, saison character. Some lemon. Some orange. Taste is dry, turning moderate bitter. Palate is light. A bit too much prickly fizz. Finishes short dry, and short bitter.
