2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gr0ve (1875) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2012
330 ml bottle. Golden and hazy. Tall white coarse head that clings to the glass. Acidic lemony aroma. Dusty. Fruity flavours with the peaches coming through in the aftertaste. Sweet peaches. Malts are definitely there, with a light and sweet presence. Medium-bodied, but very drinkable. A little sweet, but that’s fine.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Beer3000 (3096) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 26, 2012
330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a creamy white head. Aroma of peaches – and nothing else. Flavor is mostly sweet peaches, or more specific – like a rather neutral wit or blond with a big dose of peach-syrup. Served ice cold, as recommended on bottle this might feel a bit refreshing, at least it is pretty heavy carbonated and there is no real off flavors (if you don’t consider peach syrup to be an off flavor!). Frankly I don’t see the point at all with this, if I wanted a soda pop I would by myself a soda pop – not a novelty beer. Probably made for tourists that don’t really like beer but want to bring home a crazy souvenir from Brussels.

En noe udefinert smak, fruktsyre og sødme. Kan sikkert funke som tørsteslukker om den serveres på is.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 yngwie (9177) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2011
Bottle. A dense, off-white head sits on top of an unclear, yellow-golden body. Nice lacings. The aroma has peaches, peaches and more peaches, all in a sugary candy-like way. It’s medium bodied and almost sticky, with pleasant carbonation. Peachy, candy-like flavor and finish, not much beery things going on. Well, it doesn’t taste bad, but it’s a rather unbeery experience drinking it. Don’t think I’ll have more of this. 110601
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 gunnar (2638) - Sandnes, NORWAY - APR 5, 2011
Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours hazy golden with a big creamy white head. Fresh fruity and light acidic aroma. Taste is moderate sweet, with some light sour fruits. No bitterness here, a beer for the special interested, too sweet for me.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sigmund (3710) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2011
330 ml bottle, as Brussels Fruit Beer Peaches, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.2%. Hazy peach-coloured beer, huge white head. Strong and beguiling aroma of peaches and peach candy. Sweet flavour (too sweet) with notes of canned peaches in light syrup. Not much else than the foamy head here to remind you that this actually is a beer. Still a a tolerable refreshment when you want a fruit drink with little alcohol.
