Ported (51), Ontario, Canada Sep 30, 2007 Good beer, very similar to Hoegaarden. Nothing really stands out for this Wheat beer, very indicative of this style. A pleasant drink. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 31, 2007 Nice wheatbeer. Similar to Hoegaarden but with less corriander and a touch more citrus. Magtek32 (76), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 13, 2007 330ml bottle. Murky yellow/ orange appearance with a small white head. Smells fresh with notes of citrus and coriander. Fruity taste with citrus and coriander again being the main components. Good mouthfeel and carbonation. A great, refreshing wit for a hot day. tomthompson89 (1051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 4, 2007 wonderful witbier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! citrus nose somwhat musty but no bacon... sorry Harry.... cloudy hazy , spicy, citrus taste. very refreshing, one of my fav witbiers. blankboy (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 14, 2005 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry at Smokeless Joe. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of bacon -- yes bacon! Some fruit in there too along with some wheat and spices but it’s mainly bacon. You would think a bacon aroma would be gross but somehow it works. Flavour has a smoky citrusy taste to it along with wheat, spices, fruit, some malt and hops -- I’m not big on many Wheat beers but I really like the taste of this one. One of the better and more interesting Wheat beers I’ve had.
