Smells fresh with notes of citrus and coriander. Fruity taste with citrus and coriander again being the main components. Good mouthfeel and carbonation. A great, refreshing wit for a hot day. tomthompson89 (1474), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry at Smokeless Joe. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of bacon -- yes bacon! Some fruit in there too along with some wheat and spices but it’s mainly bacon. You would think a bacon aroma would be gross but somehow it works. Flavour has a smoky citrusy taste to it along with wheat, spices, fruit, some malt and hops -- I’m not big on many Wheat beers but I really like the taste of this one. One of the better and more interesting Wheat beers I’ve had. HogTownHarry (4000), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada

Poured murky pale yellow-orange with a small white head. Aroma - whoah, bacon! A belgian wheat and I get BACON?!! Also citrus, ashy belgian wheat character, coriander, fruit - quite different. Taste is not of bacon, but there’s a smokiness here, also plenty of spice (coriander, black pepper), citrus (lemon), some light sweet malt, light hops, cereal grains and a floral/perfumy finish. Mouthfeel is quite spicy and lively. An oddball belgian witbier, but I really liked that smoked bacon character. asheft (1391), Marburg, Germany

Sour and spicy clove aroma, riddled with lemon and cerealy / cheerios. Nice flavours: a blend of clove and lemon and cereal grains that’s a bit sweet, but not overly. Would have been way more refreshing (i.e., much better) if there was a slight sourness and more carbonation and a lighter body. MrManning (1644), London, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 24, 2005 LCBO bottle from the fall. Forgot I had this. Pours a cloudy yellow body with a medium sized white foamy white head. Aromas are mild bananna, spices and honey. Apples too. Taste is weak for a hefe I think. Apples and citrus, spices too, but pretty watery. Finish is faint citrus flavour with some bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Decent.
