Can from Systembolaget, june 13th 2013. Light golden ,slightly hazy with a big white head. For a macro lager in disguise I find it a very hoppy beer. At the beginning there’s an aroma of citrus hops, though that fades away down the glass making room for a pretty standard lager malt base and something metalish. But the first half actually had a decent aroma. Taste is dry a bit sour again with more citrus hops than expected. In fact it’s a pretty nice hop bill, clear taste of lemon and grapefruit without going all out hop bomb. Dry palate with a good bitterness and a citric aftertaste. I like this beer. It’s in fact a lot better than I suspected. Could easily have more.

Can. Golden colour with a white head. Somewhat fruity, hops aroma. Flavour is hops. Rather crisp. A macro lager disguised with a colourful can and plenty of hops. A bit disappointing.

Thin aroma but the taste is tastier with a little hop flavor. Boring and short aftertaste. Nothing I recommend.

Luktar lite blommigt citrus. Klassisk pilsner lagersmak först. Lite Curtis, väldigt lite. Torrare beska som bryter det sen. Som klassisk lageröl myckt bra, men minns den som mycket bättre på krogen från fat.

Cloudy blond color with generous head.Delicate aroma of fruity hops. Dry mouthfeel, the malt profile is nothing special, but it has a good bitterness level and nice citrusy character, some orange peel; the final is resiny and a bit astringent.
More than decent.

330 ml burk, har stått ett par månader i skåpet. Gyllene på gränsen till bärnstensfärgad. Doft med mycket amerikansk humle, blommig och fruktig. Lite smörkola gömmer sig under humledoften. Smaken är humleintensiv till en början med saknar någon direkt kropp. Maltsmaken är god och lite smörig, fast svag.

Det här kan mycket väl vara ett försök att göra en skön, massproducerad lager men dess värre så faller den ganska platt. Kroppen är obefintlig och ölen ser, dessvärre, helt död ut. Doften är riktigt fin dock och smaken försöker, men träffar inte rätt.

Can at home in London - many thanks to Paul for supplying this premium lager. Pours perfectly clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lots of floral hops in the aroma, some dry, spicy pine, hints of dry biscuits. Light to medium sweet flavor with fairly sturdy grassy bitterness, toasted white bread, light biscuits, dandelions. Light to medium bodied with average, zippy carbonation. Lightly dry to finish, very crisp, moderately bitter, lots of grass, light plastic, some sand and dirt, suggestions of syrupy sugars. Lingering grassy hops, which at times see a touch plastic-like. Overall an OK effort from good old Spendrups.

Can. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some hoppy flowery notes. mini ipa-ish. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Ok PL.
