3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Rehills Newcastle. Cool looking outer design. Nice change from a standard lager - a bit Brooklyn-esque - a slightly heavy malty, syrupiness to it

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can, with Thai printing, from a Seven Eleven in Bangkok, among all the Changs and Chang Lights, and Singhas, and Singha Lights, and Heinekens, and Leos, and Tigers, and Cheers, and Yanjings, and Archas, and so many other crappy beers, many of them that I never bothered to put my appreciation here. To be honest, this was not as bad as the majority of those. Although it has an ugly look of uretheral stones and a faint skunky smell, it has a rather stronger herbal, hoppy bitterness, that singles it out of the sweet, malty morosity of its neighbours in the fridge. Nothing to be too excited about though.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml brown bottle poured into a lager glass. Appearance is clear golden with medium sized frothy beige head that reduced quickly, leaving some lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, grass and lemon zest. Flavour of lemon zest, grains and a hint of grapefruit. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, slick texture and average carbonation. Overall a decent refreshing lager especially considering the price, I would have liked it stronger however.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Malty herbal and honey sweetness. Some mild hops and medium dry finish. Nice easy and fresh. Not the heavy or exciting experience the packaging suggests. Want to be hip but don’t deliver in hippyness. Not bad though.
