Bottle. Very murky brown. Looks like watered down poo. Little chunks suspended. The cap was nice and dense off white, but reduces pretty quick. Aroma of dark fruit and spices. And pine? Taste is resinous malt. More pruney than anything right now. A few sips in just leaves a watery palate with diluted toffee. Cripes. It feels like sand in my mouth. So weird. It's not terrible, just doesn't sustain flavor well. And the appearance is bugging me. Like someone's playing a trick on all of us and laughing that they're brewed poo is getting these ratings. Nonetheless, I'm pleased I didn't have to pay for this intoxicating prank.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DocLock (6800) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle from Capone’s shared with neighbors. Pours thick and turnid ruddy dark brown with minimal head. Nose is fruity, earthy, funky, and has notes of molasses. Tastes fruity, oaky, with cherry and berry fruit notes, some funky oaky yeasty flavors, and a complex flavor profile and complex palate. All who tried this craved more, and I thought it was outstanding, and one that approached the prized beer/spirit double-point.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cirrhosis (1073) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 28, 2013
Dark ruby brown body with a tall off white cap floating on top. Never smelt this before. WHAT IS THIS? The aroma reminds me of aspen tree sap with heavy spice, and dark fruit. Taste aint as good. Prunes, tree’s, elements of burnt coffee. There is a dryness to this, a mouth pasting dryness. Man this is starting to disappoint...its just turning into bellow average boredom. I’m currently watching Krull and this movie is a piece of shit that I just can’t turn away from. Cherry, soap, and roasted malts. Beer drinks easy...... I would drink again but I wont purchase again.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Kosmokrator (291) - ITALY - JAN 7, 2013
Ottima!
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 reebtogi (3266) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 21, 2012
330ml bottle pours a reddish brown color with a small white head that leaves almost no lacing on the glass. Aroma is alcohol and chocolate. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with a bit of alcohol burn and a mild hop bitterness. A rather enjoyable barley wine which is not grainy like most. A very unique brew.

bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, dark reddish to brown in color with hot alcohol and apertif notes, cocoa, dry malty body with an odd tasting finish for BW which detracted from overall enjoyment

(750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Clear deep garnet with wispy tan bubbles. Nose of rich brown sugar, alcohol, oxidation, Sherry notes. Taste of alcohol, caramel, toasty, raisins, dry finish, smells great, but way too alcoholic.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 NikkTwist (892) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle at Eulogy. Dark Tootsie Roll brown with a slight tan head. Not much aroma but tastes of thick syrupy dark red fruits. Chocolate caramel. Figs. Dates. Dried stawberries. Some charred notes at the bottom. Chewy body. Sweet and dark but finishes clean. Tastes like an Belgium dubbel by way of an Italian table wine. Something key is lacking.
