A Mes rate. Bottle thanks to Mario.
Hazy Amber with a good light beige head. Really good American hoppage aroma with a twist of Belgian yeast. Hints of leather, tobacco and cheese too. Really well balanced in the mouth. A little too yeasty if Iím gonna complain but the hops are really good and the base malt works well and the always enjoyable, Bruton characteristic hint of orange is quite clear. Easy drinking, interesting and good all round. Just like the rest of their beers.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy light amber coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a short off-white head. Hoppy light herby hinted aroma. Medium creamy palate. FInish is medium, some stronger bitter hints and light herby touches. Balanced but medium.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml bottle from a private order. Popped the cork on this, and lost about half the bottle to foam. Odd too, because it sat in my cellar for a month before I opened it. Luckily, I had read some of the reviews on here first, and others had mentioned similar experiences, so I opened it over the sink, just in case. Glad I did. What was left pours a cloudy amber, and looks and smells all the world like a typical belgian ale. Not sure where the APA designation comes from.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle at Volo (thanks Ralph). Dark brown/reddish color with optimal head, good volume. Aromas with fruity notes, Belgian yeast and dried flowers. Good crisp taste in mouth. Harmonious, good structure, a bitter and an alcoholic finish that lingers but doesnít overwhelm. Decent but tasted like it might have been past its prime.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty dark beige color ale with a super large off-white foamy head with great retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma of light bitter citrus notes with some light funky ester. Taste is also a unique mix between some huge bready malt with hints of funky ester and light citrus bitter hops. Body is full with limited filtration and great carbonation. Not a typical APA per say but more of a mix between a light funky Belgian ale with some American hops. I am not sure I would have this very often at this price point it but very interesting nonetheless.

Hazy red color, small steady off-white head. A bit hoppy, fruity, sugary and yeasty aroma. Fruity - Belgian yeasty flavor. Peach, some hops. Finishes to sweetness then ... fades away.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle from jimmay. slow gusher. pours dark orangish brown with a thick tan head. aroma of pale malt and c hops. the flavours are typical pale ale but the bottle conditioning has dried this out nicely. there is a lingering peppery bitterness that quite enjoyable. probably not as fresh as it could have been but still quite nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle ( 750ml ). Shared by gregclow with me, blankboy, garthicus, jerc and mabel. Gusher!! BIG gusher. When it settled down, poured a cloudy amber-ruby with a large foamy/frothy beige head and visible flaky floaties. Aroma of sharp, dry yeast, mild alcohol, generic fruity sweetness and some balancing herbal/citrus zest bitterness. The taste followed, really juicy and balanced, if spicy. Chewy mouthfeel but soft and light, with a longish grassy/citrus linger. I really liked it.
