COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Per palati forti.. non puÚ lasciarvi indifferenti Amber beer inspired by English bitter, and a strong American "cascade" hop, Lilith is clear with light beige, dense and persistent froth. The fresh fruity citrus scent gives it a taste of grapefruit and resin, balanced with appealing candied malts and a bitter final to leave your mouth dry and clean, ready for further sips. An arrogant beer, but also delicate and refreshing.

Thanks, Gene. Gusher. Nose has some caramel and bread plus a slight funkiness. Flavor is super dry and mineral heavy. Not a fan.

750mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a full haze, murky, glowing orange. Thick head formation and big lacing. Nose is celery, minerals, mint, homebrew oddities, benign infection. Taste is drained, aerated, minerally, bland, celery...seems to be infected. Similar to my first homebrew attempts.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy amber with a large, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is cookie and biscuit malt, pear and fruity esters with spicy and grapefruit hops. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness, supporting malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 The beer is orange with a quarter inch of off white head. The aroma offers light citrus, malt, a touch of fruit, alcohol, hops. The flavor brings malty oranges with a bitter finish. Hop character is overshadowed by malt. Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Needs more hop character. Eh...

Pours an amber colour with a small white head. Faint aromas of caramel malt and slight hops. Tasted of slightly citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium carbonation with a slightly bitter finish. Nothing stood out as special for me in this beer. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.

Not too impressive...easy to drink though. Super effervescent with a ton of off white head and a murky copper toned body. The nose is lightly floral and has a few citru fruit notes with grainy and caramel malts. Quite a bland flavor, but a bit of esters make this above average. Overall, floral and lightly hopped, but a good reason brew.

Si sente il profumo di spezie dolci mentre la verso. Schiuma persistente e amaragnora. Come gusto siamo sul quasi dolce che perÚ inganna, diventando poi amara. Sentori di orzo.

Bottle at Cotto on Hastings in Burnaby. Rather dark for a pale ale if ya arsks me, but what do I know? A dark amber beer with good head that frankly tastes like a porter or a stout. Roasted malts predominate.

Edit: After reading a bunch of reviews, Iím convinced some raters are confusing Bruton Lilith with Bruton Bruton. The Lilith is quite dark in color.
