Bottled (backlog). Hazy deep amber colour with a mediumsized head which quite quickly settles into a small one. Aroma is mild toasted notes, some alcohol, caramel, mild ripe fruits and some yeasty notes. Flavour is having the same elements along with some nutty notes as well. The alcohol pushes through quite clearly, and a bit disturbingly in the flavour.

Best before 29/11/15. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with lots of yeast floating around. The creamy beige head has good retention and lacing all-around. Aromas of crushed red apples, mild caramel and hints of mint. Pretty much the same for the taste with some hops in the finish. Notes of orange and light alcohol in the nose eventually. The mouthfeel is smooth though, medium-bodied with the alcohol well-hidden. Probably their best brew.

Bottle grom De Cervesia. Pours cloudy amber with fast fading head. Aroma has roasted malt, caramel, alcohol. Taste also roasted malt, caramel and alcohol. Would suspect higher alcohol percentage when tasting. Medium body.

Pourtant. (1088-010614)

Visual: A label with a man with a tan face with a brown background; The colour scheme matches the colour of beer well. It pours cloudy amber brown with virtually no head, a very thin layer of micro CO2 retention, some lacing, some barely visible slow and steady streams. Nose: medium sweet brown sugar malts with some caramel and chocolate; good aroma. (lvl-7)-pungency Attack: crisp, incoming malts Mid-palate: (lvl-7)-malty sweetness, (MAIN) caramel malts, brown sugar, cocoa, fig Finish: cola/molasses, light burpy, light roasted coffee bitter malty sweet, mildly metallic finish. Summary: Super duper smooth; practically finished the whole bottle sipping and reviewing.
