750mL thanks to noodleuser. Weirdly shaped bottle. Pour is clear deep red with a weak off-white head. Spotty lace. Nose is malty with lemon, small detergent, mild chemical, small chocolate, phenols, sweeter lime. Odd. Muted maple character. Taste is thinner, intense maltiness, astringent malt, big huskiness, medicinal clove and cinnamon. Decent.

CaptainCougar (7131) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Bottle thanks to noodleuser: pours a clear deep mahogany orange with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet toasty light caramel malty nose with a touch of warming spices. Starts with average fullness and light nuttiness with some mild sweetness fading into a drier slightly warming peppery finish. Doesnít have the body or sweetness of a true Belgian Dubbel.

Sweet, malt, nut, caramel finish. 7.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
