Bottle: Poured a hazy light beige color ale with a huge fluffy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of Belgian malt with delicate fruity ester and some a bready finish. Taste is very refreshing with lots of ligthly sweet Belgian malt with delicate fruity ester and a bready yeasty finish. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Nothing extreme but a very well done Belgian ale with lots of different texture that are well integrated.

330ml green bottle. Pours out golden with some orange. Hazy, lots of suspended particles. White head is creamy, leaves nice lacing. Malty nose, hint of peach/stonefruit, maybe a little tropical fruit. Taste has fruity notes, peach, orange peels, lemon tanginess, light background malt sweetness, and some pleasant Belgian yeastiness. Light hoppiness, a bit lemony and grassy, dry finish. Nice fine beaded soft carbonation and a medium body. Alcohol remains well hidden, very drinkable. Not terribly complex, but really enjoyable. Not sure what style they were aiming for here but the result is nice.

Draught at SB&WF. Cloudy golden, medium white head. Fruity and slightly spicy aroma with mango, oranges, and a touch of coriander. Medium bodied and smooth. Well balanced with a dry finish.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Marios.
Murky yellow with a white film topping and a bit of a collar. Amazing orange and vanilla aroma. Plenty of spice too and the rye shows through really well, where the candy sugar is just a hint in the background. The flavour is more of the same. The sugar is possibly even more in the background and the hops come more to the front. Maybe a tad too much spice in the finish but once again, another very tasty and unusual brew from Brùton.

A hazy golden ale with a thick off white. In aroma, a very herbaceous banana with cloves and strawberries. In mouth, a great ale, weizen like, with bananas, cloves, wild herbs, a bit of aniseed, warming alcohol. Rich and complex. 750 ml bottle at Atelier in Ottawa, 25$, Sept. 29 2010.
