Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 2. Cloudy orange with a decent creamy beige head. Sour orange juice aroma, not in a good way, slightly sugary. Taste is a weird jumble of sour, floral bitterness, weak alcohol, and totally lacking in any Belgian yeast character - a bit of a mess, really. Average body, slightly acidic/sour, with a quick fade to the malt and a puny little aftertaste not amounting to anything - nope, didn’t like this at all.

A hazy amber ale with a thin white head. A rather interesting aroma of catnip, sweet malt and bready notes. In mouth, rather light and corky, clean and short. On tap at Mondiale 2009.

Tap. Orange coloured beer with no real head. The aroma is quite spicy but also a soft rancid fruitiness. Sticky and sweet with a chewy underattenuated character. Sweet and honeyish without much in the way of redeeming qualities. Very hot and boozy. Meh.
