3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 duckdown (72) - GTA, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 6, 2010
Yet another disappointment for the same reasons I criticized their Maple Cream Ale: where the f**ks the honey flavor?
Dark copper colored beer with slight off colored head that disappears very fast, no lacing. Smells and tastes of roasted notes but again, where is the god damn honey? Average, nothing special to see here.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2009
Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 2. Sort of a mud-brownish pour, average off-white head. Mild aroma of cola, weak dry herbal bitterness, something vaguely sweet that I guess is honey; tasted the same, no alcohol to speak of. Perhaps a little thin and watery, it finished quickly and didn’t leave a particularly offensive aftertaste - a borderline "okay" bown ale; a little to syrupy.
