what a disapointment. They call this a Rouse at the pub, what ever that’s suposed to mean. Nut red in colour, low large bubble carbonation, large bubble tall head, quickly disapating, slight laceng. Light silky body, aroma is slight grassy hop and light malt. Taste almost isn’t there. Watery with just the slighest character of cerial, malt and grassy hop, with undertones of active yeast and unfermented shugars. Aftertaste is syropy. This beer is a failure. I think it might just need to be aged. Cheers. {ps, most other brewpubs in mtl have a beer called solsitce, but it’s normaly a abby style}

Nut brown color, light bodied, but lacked in any real character. God the beers are boring here.

Is this a brown ale? That was just a guess as the server had no idea and you really can’t tell from tasting it. Grainy cereal malt aroma with some herbal and grassy notes. Clear brown body with low, large-bubbled, off-white head that lasts well and sticks to the sides of the glass. Grainy malts, herbal hops and a touch of dark malt flavour in the finish. Light bitterness and no caramel sweetness. Light, watery body with very low carbonation. Under-fermented perhaps? Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Dark gold body with a thin and diminishing white creamy head. Weak hoppy/herbal aroma with light flowery notes. Taste is mainly watery with barely detectable malty and hoppy hints. Finish is short and weak. A failure...
