3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, - FEB 7, 2012
Draught@Bruuveri
Dark brown, almost opaque color, small brown head. Aroma has coffee, tar and licorice. Light to medium bodied. Light palate. Roasted malty flavor with hints of smoke and tar. FInish has some hoppyness but aftertaste is quite short. Plesant and clean.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Brandman (1067) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 12, 2012
Pitch black body. Khaki head. Aroma of roasted grains, tar, some cough medicine, sweet sugar. Flavour adds ash, sweet intense italian coffee like flavours, acidic malt. Very interesting hoppy porter, some sense of smoke and something unidentified but very common plain berry flavour. In a good way, not the same you fund in oxidated beers. The beer is alive from the first zip to the last one.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 jookos (124) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 6, 2012
Pours black, with some lighter head. Roasted malts, some chocolate, a bit of wood.. smoked wood. Mouthfeel is a bit thinner than expected, not watery though, ok. Quite dry. Combined with the high carbonation it makes it feel hard on the palate. Like chewing on wood flakes. I’m getting a bit of hops on the nose now also, English- style. This is an ok, quite dry and a bit smokey, porter with some fruit on the nose. But I like mine fuller, and not as dry.
