Black, small tight beige head. Rich burnt aroma, a touch ashy. Full smooth palate, nice carbonation. Simple richly roasted taste, quite burnt, and with an almost gingery tingle, and an almost salty bite. Finish fairly burnt, not astringent, and with some earthy hops too. Well balanced, nice to feel and taste some hops in a stout of this strength.

Draught at Bruuveri 0.25L. Mild chocolatey nose. Pale brownish head. Dark brownish black colour. Soft roasty malty fullfilled taste. Coffeyish bitterness. Slightly robust.

Draught at Bruuveri. Black color. Strong tropical and citrusy aroma with coffee in the background. The taste begins with coffee and leather with now citrus, tropical fruits and petrol in the background. Bitter, coffeish and tropical finish with dry hoppiness. The roastedness is soft and does not detract from hops, which is a good thing. To me this is more like a black IPA.

decent porter with a smoky aroma. U won’t remember it but u’ll still enjoy drinking it.

Dark brown color, steady creamy brown head. Tarry aroma with hints of licorice. Light to medium-bodied. Malts, licorice, smoke in the flavor. Aftertaste has some hoppyness. Light caramel in the backbone. Good.

(Draught at Bruuveri, 20120321) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had smoke, tar, hops and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, smoke, liquorice, aniseed, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, ashy and bitter. A tasty porter with low abv.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth foamy head. Roasted aroma with mild fruity notes and hints of chocolate. Taste is quite roasty with nice fruity notes and hints of cola. Finish is roasty and bitter with hints of chocolate and coffee. Nice, well balanced and tasty porter.
