COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Suomen Marsalkka C.G.E.

(Draught@Bruuveri, served extra cold) Opaque orange with no head. Orange-fruity, moderately grassy-hoppy nose. Flavor is bitter-hoppy, somewhat harsh and stuffy with some orange-fruitiness. Almost medium body, lowish carbonation. Not very clean or balanced, but at least it has some hops.

On tap at brewpub. Transparent orange, thin white ring. Tea leaves, root, doughy nose, bit overly sweet and discordant. Flavor is lightly bitter, grassy, caramel through the sugary, full bodied, sticky finish.

Draught @ HBF 2010. Pale golden color, frothy white head. Piny hop aroma, hint of sulphur. Clean hoppy flavor with a lingering bitter finish. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. Slightly too bitter for my taste, but well-crafted.

4- slightly hazy orange, almost no lasting head
7 spicy hoppy retronasals. Big hoppy body, fruity and very spicy, real dry resiny bitter bite.

Hazy orangy straw colour, tiny head. Fruity peach and grapefruit aroma. Cascade? Simcoe? Lovely soft palate - a light milky grainy base, but plenty of grapefruity hops. Finish unsurprisingly is hoppy, very dry and citrussy - lemon and grapefruit. Incredibly well balanced. For IPAs, this is probably second only to Huvila’s Alpo’s IPA.

Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival. Copper color. Sweetish an hoppy aroma with tropical fruits and sweaty hops. Bittersweet flavor with fruity, lemony and slightly soapy hops. Slightly astringent finish with very long lingering bitterness. This is all about hops, but the hop profile could be better.

Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - APR 12, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Poured an orange murky body with a small white head. Sweet and hoppy nose, carrying some kind o f strange dry maltiness. Soft and malty taste, sometimes soapy, a bit dry, dominated by something orange-like. Ok enough if pale in comparison to the Severin I’ve had earlier.

Draught at HBF 10, Helsinki, Finland. 5.2%.
Hazyish golden colour with small white head. Sweet American hoppy aroma. Yeasty, bitter quite strong fruity hoppy flavour. Rather good for a Finnish IPA. Worth trying.
