A perfect knife-edge balance between smokiness and fruity hops in the aroma. Full palate. Smooth sweetish body. Dark amber body, keggy orange head. Nice IPA, but where’s the smoke gone in the mouth. Dry bitter finish, long and resiny. Very tasty, slips down very easily.

Dark mahogany colour with small light tan head.
Floral and dark fruity hoppy aroma with malt, mild bitterness and dryness.
Flavour is strong bitter hops, resin, malt and perfumy floral notes. Dry. Smoke I didn't catch. Strong resiny bitterness in aftertaste stays.

(Draught at Bruuveri, 20121103) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and almost white. Aroma had fruity hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were black currant leaves, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. I didn’t find any smoke whatsoever. A decent but a bit unbalanced brew.

Pours dark brown with a thick smooth head. Aroma of smoked malts, fruity hops, grass and citrus. Taste starts out mildly smoke but fruity hops dominate the taste with some hints of leather and smoked ham. Finish is bitter and hoppy with nice fruity notes and hints of smokiness. A bit unusual style, but this works surprisingly well!

Draught at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Colour is ruby/brown with thick white head. Aroma and flavours are hops, smoke and roasted malts. Nice try but little bit of watery.
