330 ml bottle (Marsalkka portteri). Deep dark brown colour, thin light beige head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and dark fruits. Roasted malty flavour with coffee and dark chocolate, and a roasted, ashy finish. Medium-bodied, flat carbonation. Nice.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malty with maple syrup and licorice in both aroma and flavor. Sweet, low on carbon. Not bad.

330 ml bottle. Pours almost opaque and brownish with minimal beige head. Nice aroma of chocolate, roasty and caramel malt and dark fruits. Alcohol is little bit coming through though. Flavour of burned roasty malt, coffee and a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied and oily texture. Low carbonation. Uncormfortably burning bitter finnish. Aroma was really good but taste was a small disappointment. Drinkable but bit too burned for my taste.

Bottle from rosenbergh, kiitos. Labale says Marsalkka Portteri. Almost black color with small beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate in aroma with earthy notes. Taste, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, bitter hops, ash. Dry, bitter finish, with hints of wood. Good one.

Bottle. Thanks to Bart for bringing this from Finland. Metallic, aluminum scents with some mild chocolate and maybe yogurt. Very dark brown and a small thick head. Flavors of chocolate, cocoa powder. Good full aftertaste.
Medium body.

Bottle. Minerals and soy nose, sweet pear. Black with lace. Sweet and fruity flavor, cola, woody, with a light roast and a dirty finish. Too sweet and fruity.

33cl bottle from gnoff. Poured a deep brown with no head. Aroma of smoky malt vinegar and hickory. Sour vinegar taste with a woody smoky finish, alcohol very well hidden in this beer.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a small tan head. Roasted malt in the aroma with notes of sweet caramel and coffee. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, caramel and coffee. Some bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Black color, small tan head. Sweet, alcohol, malty scent. Metallic, grainy, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

Pours dark brown cola, almost black. Beige, almost non-existent head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, salty liquorice, tones of smoke. Taste is roasted malts, liquorice, some coffee and wooden flavors. A wooden and slightly herbal finish. Palate is a bit oily, not much in the way of carbonation.

Musta ja hieman vaalean ruskeaa vaahtoa muodostava olut. Tuoksu on paahtunut, makean maltainen, salmiakkinen ja kitkerän suklainen. Maku on salmiakkinen, kahvinen, paahtunut ja yrttinen. Suutuntumaltaan öljyisen liukas ja melko paksu portteri.
