2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bought at the Ontario, Cal .99 Cent store, I’ve had many bad Salvadoran brews that were similar, this one is abit better. Corn flavor, but not as watery, some dust and metallic flavor, but not overly sweet, actually drinkable, not a first choice, but would be OK out of an ice chest after a hot day of work, with some BBQ, drinkable, but not enjoyable!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Quality find @ the 99 cent store. Clear golden pour with a white head. Smells mostly like apple juice. But, it’s also metallic, papery, and watery. Corn, chlorine, and sugar, too. Sweet flavor of sugar, corn, and apple juice. Some metal, chlorine, and water. A touch of white grape juice, too.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had this years ago as Blanco Basura, random buy in the middle of no where NorCal. Think it actually came in a box with some weird tequila. Really poor lager. HA!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a huge can, thanks to Craig. Corn, sweet malts, pilsmet malts hinting at honey. Not a bad macro lager.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Big old can O’punishment thanks to Craig. Pours a clear golden hue with a large white head. The aroma is bready and honey malts. Well, the flavor is clean, even some light floral hops. Bready, earthy, some dirtiness. OK.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Yellow with a white head. The aroma and flavor are not good. I get a ton of grain notes as well as some metal and a hint of grass. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation Gross.

1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Canned @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a fairly clear, light yellow appearance with a decent, off white head. Corny, lemony, a bit citrusy, grainy aroma. Watery, somewhat bittery, corny, bland, light flavor. Probably decent if it’s 100F outside and you’re hoping to cool off but this just isn’t tickling my tongue right now.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Better than I expected -- or maybe I was just in the right mood. Drank straight from the bottle which may have helped mask any annoying aromas. Odd metallic aftertaste built as I drank it but otherwise quite refreshing.
And the bottle does indeed say "Chasing since 1923". What the hell does that mean?
