Bottle. Clear golden colour, short head. Sweet aroma of some spices and malt. Flat mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with spices, some honey, malt and strange grassy hops.

500 ml bottle. From Latvia. Hazy golden colour with fluffy, fast vanishing head. Aroma: spices, vegetables, toffee, grains. Spice, honey sweetness and cardboard in flavour. Quite strange but not bad.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour with a slight haze. Slightly funky aroma with ginger and a bit of honey. Sweetish taste with malt and the ginger being noticeable although not overwhelmingly so. Sometimes it seems like this brewery have got a deal with some local grocer when it comes to ginger and they just have to use it. I am all for creativity but there is no need to use it in virtually every beer that you produce. It gets a bit tedious! The beer is drinkable though, I just feel that these brewers have more potential than they are currently showing.

Bottle, 4.5%. Buttery and oxidized aroma. The flavour is oxidized and slightly plasticky. Must be the weird ginger as it is not past BB date.

larsga (4661) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 25, 2008
Small white head. Yellow body, slightly hazy due to particles. Rich malty aroma with fruity honey notes and a touch of toffee. Dryish and sweetish taste of tobacco and light malts with fruity milky notes. No real aftertaste; just fades out quite quickly leaving a watery lightly metallic aftertaste. Nice, in a kind of mellow way, and probably a little bit old. (0.5l bottle from KnutAlbert.)

Hazy golden beer. Malty body, full flavour. Grain, spice, honey. Rather sweet, but som warm spices balance out the sweetness.

Rune (4924) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 9, 2008
500ml bottle - thanks to Knut Albert for sharing. Firm white head over an unclear, beige head. Unusual aroma and taste. The aroma can best be described as a mix of dried vegetables and wet paper notes. The spicy flavour has also got hints of dark honey, wood and ashy malts. Flat and dry mouthfeel. Strange, but drinkable (Oslo, 04.04.2008).

Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2008
(BBE 1/08) Golden colored, slightly hazy appearance. Little white head. Sweet honeyish aroma with lots of paper and cardboard, some weird perfumy-grainy note also comes up. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more like same than aroma: honey and grainy sweetness with cardboard. Aftertaste is somehow biting and tangy with this cardboard still.
