Vells (669) - LATVIA - APR 21, 2014
Quite drinkable pale lager with some body. Decent maltiness, bit honeyish bready, mild herbal hops, fruitiness. Sweetish with light bitterness, quite dry. Quality of this one is quite unstable. This bottle was fairly drinkable

500ml bottle. Clear golden color. Bready, sour, sweet aroma. Minerals, sour, bready taste. Sour aftertaste. Typical Latvian.

larsga (6210) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2013
Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy deep yellow body with light carbonation. Deep earthy peas and resin aroma with spicy herbal notes. Deeply unusual. Sweet-dryish earthy herbal spicy taste with floral notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Sweet honeyish earthy peas aftertaste with herbal spicy notes. Surprisingly drinkable and full of flavour. Not entirely sure what’s been going on here. (0.5l bottle from Stockmann, Riga.)

Flaske 0,5l. Påspandert og delt med flere under rateseanse på Tårnrommet 10 Jan 13. Gyldengul. Lavt luftig skum som blir nesten helt borte. Aromaen er en kombinasjon av malt & gress. Smaken er søt frukt. Plommer. Blir i søtligste laget - og litt uvariert. Allikevel et bra øl.

Rune (8047) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2013
500ml bottle kindly shared by Elisabeth and Stefan. Clear, dark golden body under a slowly dissipating white head. Sweet dried fruits and corn to the nose. Sweet and dry taste of pale malts heading in the direction of cardboard. Dry, fruity endnotes. Notes of metallic alcohol. Soft in the mouth. Possible to drink (rating session, Tårnrommet, Tromsø 10.01.2013).

Bottled, from Stockmann, Riga. Clear golden, minimal head. Caramelly nose with some butter, ripe fruit and cardboard. Mid sweet with light body, low carbonation and well rounded mouthfeel. Rather simple flavour profile, mostly butter/caramel. Low bitterness.

Sweet malt aroma. Sour malt flavor with hints of caramel and butterscotch. Watery and bitter aftertaste. Yet another awful Latvian caramel beer!

estpiwo (1278) - ESTONIA - FEB 18, 2011
500ml bottle. Herbal aroma. White head, body is golden, but little bit cloudy. Flavor is some sweet malty with little hoppy tones. Drinkable and good after common empty lager.

FatPhil (9356) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 24, 2010
500ml bottle (Rimi, Riga)
5 Herbal, grassy aroma, a little dusty, a touch vegetal.
2 Hazy yellow, large fluffy head.
4 A bit of a let-down, quie a dull lager. Slightly vegetal. I get some liver too, but I wonder if that’s something to do with the pastry I’v just eaten.
2 Slightly thin palate, crisp carbonation. Finish is brief, slightly vegetal, a little savoury (again, that must be the pastry?)
7 Rather underwhelmed, they do do better beers.

SaintMatty (5247) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAY 21, 2010
500ml Bottle - Gold/amber with a white head. Grainy aroma with a hint of corn. Sweet and grainy taste with notes of corn, malt and a strange metallic hint. It tastes like they didn’t actually finish brewing it. Rather unpleasant.
