3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8576) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2008
At the brewpub. Golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is fruity and refreshing with notes of caramel, light citrus and very little elder flower. The flavour is smooth and fruity with a light sweetness, notes of caramel, butter, citrus and light elder flower. It’s without any bitterness, uncomplicated and quenching.
I have tasted it once since then, the butter was more dominant all over, starting to be too much, but my score is from the first tasting.
