10 cl on draft at the brewery. Way better than any other pale lager I tasted in Finland. Part-German brewer apparently. Unfiltered, which adds instead of detracting in this case, the beer managing to be crisp.

Pours clear yellow with medium frothy white head. Aroma is malty straw, bread, grassy hops, dough. Flavor is medium malty, light bitter, long dry finish. Body is light, palate is oily, carbonation is good. Not bad.

100ml on tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow-gold body, white layer, poor lacing. Mild aroma of herbal hops and pale malt. Mixed taste of grass and pale malts leading to a clean, drying end with distant bitterness. Easy to drink. Quite nice pilsener (Helsinki, 25.09.2015).

Vaalea Juhlalager HOK ELANTO, Bryggeri. 33 cl, bottled. Pours clear gold with a pleasant white head. Aroma: Toffee, malt, citrus. Grains. Taste: Medium- sweet, medium+ bitterness. Malt, toffee in flavour. Grains.
Palate: Light body, some carbonation. Good pale lager. 6-4-5-3-12. 10.8.2015

Taste from a bottle @ a friend’s place. Pours clear golden with a low head. Aroma is malts with some citrus. Flavor is sweet malts with some citrus and hops. Decent.

0,33l bottle from Citymarket Ruoholahti. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts and honey. Flavor is malts with some honey and a hoppy ending. Quite nice indeed.

[ Trade by oh6gdx ]. ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain - hay, pale malt, old dusty malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average duration, sugary sweet malt, hay - old grass, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

(Draught at Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki, 30 March 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, citrus, grass and lemon peel. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, citrus, grass, a touch of grapefruit and a fresh, citric bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty pilsener with a fresh hop character. Quite nice.
