On tap @Bryggeri Helsinki. Pitch black with beige foam that sticks to the glass. Classic Irish style stout. Malty and dry, but still delightfully light in strength.

Mild dark aroma. Black. Gently roasted. Somehow musty. Dusty. Light. Old socks.

33cl bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks! Pours almost black with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt and coffee. Taste of roasted malt, bitter coffee, dry, okay!

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, coarse beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. Dryish with light body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Milk chocolate dominates, notes of ash, Mid bitter finish. Somewhat edgy.

About 100ml poured from a bottle at the brewpub. A beige layer over a near black coloured body. Fragile lacing. Sweet dark malty nose. Dark dough, liquorice and slightly roasted malty flavours. Drying end. Medium to thin bodied. Middle of the road (Helsinki 25.09.2015).

mmyohane (108) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2015
Aroma has roasted malts and chocolate. Pours black with overwhelming head that leaves lacing. Taste has medium bitterness, light sweetness. Bitter coffee, roasted malts, chocolate. Thin body with lively carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall a eatery stout that lacks the balance of sweetness, bitterness and malts.

Bottle, thanks hermod, small bubbly beige head, opaque black color, lively carbonation, aroma of dark bread, instant coffee and sour hay, flavor of dark chocolate and coal, medium bitterness, quite dry. Simple but quite drinkable
