Draught. Dirty brown in color with an off-white head. Banana, wheat and dark chocolatey nuttyness in aroma. Fruityness, some hard toffee and slighlty burnt rubber in taste. Banana wheatyness and nuttyness towards the finish.

Tap @ brewpub, 30/08/14. Pours orangey brown with a good, beige head. Aroma is medium caramel, some clove. Taste is caramel, some cloves, light wheat. Lightly roasted with dark fruitiness. Light bubblegum and yeast come in the aftertaste. Some lemon detectable as well. Fairly light, strong carbonation.

Tap (Bryggeri, Helsinki)
Woh! The whole pub smells of brewing (because they’re brewing downstairs). That kinda masks some of this. Sharp spicy aroma, almost harsh. Tons of hops, but raw and biting. Full sweet wheaty body, some banana, some toastiness. Slightly harsh carbonation. Quite simple and thin dunkelweizen. Clean, which is better than dirty for a dunkelweizen, but bad for a hefeweizen.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Clear deep ruby color, creamy off-white head. Banana aroma with nutty notes. Medium-bodied. Banana, nutty maltyness, perhaps some chocolate too. Nice, well’brewed and probably unique in Finnish beer scene.

Draught at the Bryggeri, Helsinki, Finland. Dark murky brown colour with a small cream-coloured head. Sweet malt, caramel, mild hops, dark fruits and mild yeast in the aroma. The flavour is mild yeast, banana, caramel, malt, wheat and dark fruits. Fizzy. Quite nice Dunkelweizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap@bryggeri, winter special. Brown hazy. Estery banana, ryeish dark maltyness, some chocolate on nose. Good bodied. A bit grainy dark malty, flavour-wise. Good weiss yeasty esters though. A bit too dry, and malty grainy, to my liking for a dunkelweiss. Wonderful handling of the yeast by the brewer tho. As with their weiss, the yeasty flavours are just perfect in this. Even if not one of the best ones of this place, it would be hard to find a better dunkelweiss nearby.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is quite typical to dunkelweizens; sweet with ripe bananas and some yeasty notes. Flavour has banana esthers, some sweetish toffee. Finishes somewhat tart and bitter with herbs and grapefruit. Solid dunkelweizen anyway.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20140101) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, toasted malts and banana. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, chocolate, fruitiness, ripe banana, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was maltly and bitter. The beer was more malt forward than I expected. A bit harsh aroma but otherwise good.
