As Bryggerigaarden Imperial Stout. 50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Black body with a tan, creamy head. What first hits you is an earthy, yeasty almost sourish note, quite unusual for a stout. Hard roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some licorice and fruitiness. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture, soft carbonation. Finishes with hard roasted malts, licorice, resin caramel and chocolate malts. Alcohol is well hidden. Without doubt a good beer, but I´d wonder weather that yeasty, sourish note should be there.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and soy sauce. The labor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and spices, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Black, totally. Light-brown head, medium duration. Heavy dark aroma, a bit unharmonic, fat coffee, too burnt/roasted sugars. Flavor is heavy sweet, oily, burnt and wet newspaper. Warming alcohol.
