Hazy brown. Aroma medium malty (caramel, roasted, fruit and chocolate). Flavor medium sweet and bitter, quite dry, especially the chocolate side. Medium+ body. Really nice.

Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off-white head.
Sweet aroma of hay, caramel and hops with notes of chocolate.
Sweet flavour of caramel, berries, chocolate, grass and hops.
Hppy finish.

Citric and refreshing hop aroma. Cloudy red brown colour. Small white head. Good fruity flavour with a bready sweetness. Medium bitterness. Not so much alcohol flavour as expected from the style. Cannot taste much chocolate, but the beer is good.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2012. Pours unclear brown with a large head. Dried fruit, caramel , grain and a whiff of choko. Medium bodied.

Sample at Ølfestival 2012. Dark amber with little head. Nose is slightly smokey and caramelly but there isn’t really much happening at that end. Where’s the chocolate? There’s some subtle hints but I was hoping for a lot more. Quite fizzy and doesn’t really feel like 8%. Not one I’d be returning to.

Draught at Valhal. Clear brown - white head. Chocolate, roasted, light nutty, fruity notes, cocoa, high chocolate, dusty chocolate, light hoppy, peppery, lots of roasted malts.

Draught at Valhal.Black colour with creamy beige head.Aroma is rosted and creamy with flavor of dark chocolate,caramel and hops,smooth mouthfeels and mild bitter finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a huge creamy and tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light chocolate. Smooth roasted malt and light smooth roasted malty. Lasting sweet and roasted malty impression.

On tap. Cloudy opaque dark brown with a tall, handsome and creamy light brown head leaving some lacework. Mellow roast aroma - perhaps with a whiff of chocolate. Quite a rich and full body, some malty roast, a little sweet chocolate and a whiff of yeast. The bitterness is surprisingly present. 280112
