Draught. Dark brown coloured. Small beige head. ARoma of medicin, spice, ripe fruits and caramel. Flavour of spice, fruits, sweetness, and loads of medicin. Too much for my likings and actually very cloying. Sweet and medicindense end.

Dark brown with no head. Fruity with wine tones. Malt, fruit, raisins and wine.
Full body with a long sweet, warming finish.

Sample at CBF12. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Light sweet and moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Pours a black colour without a head. Aroma of really strong and stinging alcohol and raisins. Flavour of strong raisins, alcohol, wood, grass and licorice. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel and a long raisiny finish with wood. Waaay too sweet. Not my thing at all. This is a sherry.

Pours dark copper color with no head. Aroma of caramel, alcohol and ripe fruits. Flavor of sweet malts, caramel, sugar, ripe fruits and some sherry. Way too sweet.

Aroma is rather boozy and sweet with lots of raisins. Flavour is very sweet with lots of raisins, sweet cherries and sugar. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden in the taste. A beer, a sherry or a porto?

Too alcoholic. Really a beer for dessert.

Paint thinner aroma. Black colour. Very sweet flavour. Sugary and extremely sweet. Cloying and ridiculously undrinkable.

Draught at Valhal. Black - offwhite edges. Sweetnes, white sugar, burned notes, fruity, wine, port wine, light phenolic, nutty, light alcoholic, nice smooth, licorice, dried fruits. OK.

Hazy dark brown with a tiny off-white head. Quite complex aroma of wine and fruit with a vineous touch of fortified wine and alcohol. Sugary sweet flavour with a bit of dried fruit. Extremely cloying

Bottle at No5, Christmas tasting.
Black, no head. Aroma heavy sweet (honey, coffee, dark fruits). Flavor heavy sweet, like Port-wine. Full body, sirupy body, lots of warming alcohol. Really a beer for desserts.
