Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, caramel, coffee, dusty coffee, keller. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate tol ight heavy bitter with a long duration, dusty malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130219]

Bottle. Pours dark brown with thick but unstable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and dried fruit. Bitter, but not unpleasant, flavour of roasted malt. Dry finish. Not bad but a trifle unbalanced.

Todella hyvä jouluportteri. Olut on mustaa, kuten asiaan kuuluu. Vaahto on pääosin pienipiirteistä ja kestävää. Tuoksussa paahtunutta mallasta reilusti, humalaa ei juurikaan. Maussa hienoisesti kahvia ja sitä paahteisuutta. Suutuntuma voisi olla hieman täyteläisempi. Nyt jälkimaku loppuu vähän kesken. Silti hyvä suoritus. Jos tätä vain saisi Suomesta...

It’s black with a light red hue in the sides and the creamy and lasting head is nougat brown. The aroma has notes of licorice, roasted malt and a touch dark fruits. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of licorice, coffee, roasted malt light fruit and a pleasant roasted bitterness. A nice one.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Strong chocolate notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Very roasted. Aveage moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with foamy light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, ripe fruit and hints of resin. Taste is medium bitter and faint sweet. Body is oily with lively carbonation. Finish is medium long and rather bitter with notes of resin, grapefruit peel, ground roasted (slightly burnt) coffee. Slightly unpleasant. It?s more like an IPA than a porter.
