Deep amber pour with a creamy white head. The nose is malty and slightly earthy. A touch of spice as it warms out. There’s a bit of light spice as well as some malty sweetness. Has a bit of bitterness but it’s a pretty basic, balanced bitter.

Cask conditioned at The Lindale Inn, Lindale, Cumbria. Gold amber beer with slight head. Particularly bitter and twangy, nicley dry with a certain fruitiness, I thought Kiwi perhaps. Strongish for a session beer, but it does taste just right for that type of beer. Enjoyable.
