COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A dark, full bodied, fruity and moderately bitter beer. A complex mix of malt, fruit, chocolate and toffee is followed by a long bitter fruit aftertaste. Shrimpers Stout is brewed to give a rich balanced taste, one that the homecoming fishermen may appreciate. A large proportion of chocolate and black malts give the dark colour and rich malty flavour, nicely balanced by the addition of wheat malt. These malts are complemented by the best Northdown hops to give a stout worth coming home for.

Quite simply a black beer - as a stout should be. The aroma is earthy, fruity with a touch of aniseed. Flavours are dry and earthy with a good roast malts and some licourice for good measure. A good smokey finish, too.
