Quite an appealing cloudy cider-maroon color. Lightly carbonated with and adorned with a richly creamy tan-brown head. Adequate blend of chocolate, clove and a pinch of banana aromatics. Similarly, the flavor is nuanced by chocolate, clove and banana, but is rather under-bodied, and as a consequence, falls short. Overall, this stands as a quaffable, if unremarkable, German styled dunkelweizen.

Pretty good beer. Smooth. Colour was a lovely brown, had a cream head. Aroma had a hint of wheat. Taste was a slight toffee, good texture and balance.
