COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bube's rendition of this classic style is made with fine 2-row malted barley and West Coast hops. A wonderful malt finish with a delicate citrus aroma, reminiscent of its Old-World cousin.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2007 Poured a clean copper/gold color with a foamy off-white head. Sweet hop aroma with lots of grapefruit and pineapple present. Flavor was very nice also. Loads of sweet grapefruit blended nicely with a shot of carmel and a pineapple finish.

Pretty solid for an IPA. Not as hoppy as I would expect, it is a good east coast version of an IPA, just slightly subdued, but a good beer none the less. I ordered the sampler then I also got a pint of this after I finished the 4 beers in the sampler.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2006 wow. I was surprised at how good this was. excellent hops aroma and taste and had a nice bitterness to it. This is one of the best IPA’s i’ve had. I should note that you have to get if fresh to get the whole experience, because I ’ve had various qualities of this, the rating above being for the fresh stuff.l

Excellent IPA, floral aroma, nice soft lacy head, lots of hop bitterness, spicy aftertaste, great balance, well-balanced hop/malty flavors, not too overpowering, very good IPA
