Oct 8, 2007 Draft at Bubes. Pours bright amber with small off-white head. The aroma is bready with some dark fruits and bergamot orange. The flavor has some light caramel, plum, and even a little bit of bitter chocolate. It finishes with red grapes and a bit of grainy bitterness.

Sep 17, 2007 Draft at Brewpub. Poured a light copper shade with no head. Light carbination. Tasted like a english pale ale. Not sure what makes this an "old ale". Not too impressed. I’d like to try again to see if I missed something.
