Commercial Description:
This was the first draught on tap in November 2001. It has developed to a very quaffable ale. the slight sweet malt flavor is balanced with East Kent Golding hops to produce this delicious reddish-amber ale.

My favorite of the bubes beers i’ve tried so far. Nice redish colour. Good taste that went down smooth and crisp.

Pours coppery amber with tinges of ruby. The aroma is caramel malt and some vinous fruit, and slight berry notes. Taste is caramel malty, with a mix of berry and vinous fruit. Medium palate, with a solid complexity. Well crafted.

Tap at the brewpub. Burnt orange, thin tan head. Apple aroma. Apply malty carmel flavors. Low hops. Too much apples for me.

Poured a medium amber/brown color with a foamy off-white head. Bitter hop aroma. Flavors were bitter grapefruit and mild carmel. Pretty average red.
